About the Teacher

 

 

My name is Silvia Gomes (Gwuamesh).  I have recently moved to Bellingham and am looking forward to the adventure of living in a new city.  I grew up in Seattle and have frequently visited Portugal to visit my family.  I attended St. Alphonsus School, Bishop Blanchet High School, and recieved my BAEd in Interdisciplinary Child Development with an Elementary Education endorsement at Western Washington University.  I have taught Kindergarten at Holy Rosary in Tacoma and am very much looking forward to teaching Third Grade at Assumption.  Please feel free to stop by before or afterschool if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to say hello!  I also check my email quite frequently so that would be a great way to contact me as well.
