The text used is from Silver Burdett Gin Mathematics: The Path to Math Success

The following will be covered this year:

• Multi-Digit Multiplication and Division
• Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division of Decimals
• Addition and Subtraction of Fractions
• Geometry
• Representation of Algebraic Relationships
• Probability
• Interpreting Graphs
• Problem Solving strategies

There will be homework assignments assigned each night. (Monday through Thursday.) Every other Wednesday, students will have a basic facts test. On Friday, students will work on problem solving.
