Message From the Principal
I
pray this finds you relaxed and rejuvenated! You have
a few weeks left to rest, relax, and travel. Take advantage
of this beautiful Northwest weather. I look with eager
anticipation for the beginning of the school year.
The Beatitudes speak to us to find hope and comfort.
My favorite is Blessed are the Pure in Heart
for they shall see God. In Mother Teresa’s words,
“Let us thank God for His great love in bringing
us together to realize the greatness of His love for
each one of us, for none of us would be here if the
good God did not put that love—that tender love—in
the heart of our mother; to keep us, to give us love,
to give us joy of living and loving. That is why it
is good for a few seconds that we just thank our mother
for giving us the joy of living and loving. We all also
owe a deep gratitude to Mary the mother of Jesus, for
accepting to be the mother of Christ; for accepting
to bear Him for nine months, for accepting to take care
of Him, to love Him, to protect Him. That’s why
we’ll ask her to give us her heart—so beautiful,
so pure, so immaculate—her heart so full of love
and humility, that we may also be able to receive Jesus
the Bread of Life, as she received Him. To love Him
as she loved Him, and to serve Him as she served Him.”
