The Dedication Ceremony and Visit to the

Bellingham Community School, Phnom Dek, Cambodia

 

Curriculum:

Religion: Lenten focus: Prayer, Fasting, Almsgiving and Learning.

Literature: We are in the THIRD week of literature Circles during which students are discussing their group's books.

Language Arts: We are beginning to nderstand the rhythms and style of poetry.

Science: Machines

U.S. History: We are studying the development of the Constitution and its ratification.

Algebra:

Pre-Algebra III: We are using proportions to problem solve.

Art: We are beginning illuminated manuscripts. We've chosen a Bible verse to calligraph and embellish with a small painting.

Physical Education: We are demonstrating volleyball skills.

LMC: Word processing skills

Music: Dialogue and discussion of what has been learned.

SLE Focus of the year: An Assumption graduate is an active faith-filled Catholic who participates in the life of the church.
