Mrs. Thomas began teaching at Immaculate Conception Regional School in 1991. She taught third grade before moving on to 4th grade at Assumption. She received her BA in Secondary Education from Seattle University and her Elementary Ed Degree from Seattle Pacific University.

She is a WSU graduated Master Gardener and spends any free time she has in the garden.

Mrs. Thomas lives in Bow with her husband, Kevin and her two children, Ryan and Brianna. Besides gardening she loves reading, traveling, Boot Camp workouts, swimming, skiing, spending time with her family and weekend getaways with her 5 sisters. Her two children have graduated from Burlington High School and now attend WSU! (Go Cougars)
