The Birthday Club is a fun, optional program started at Assumption Catholic School years ago both to celebrate a child's birthday and to build up the LMC. If parents wish, they may give a donation to the library and then have their child select a new, previously purchased book in the library to have on our shelves. Ms. Sawyer has a wonderful collection of exciting new books to choose from, and since shelf space is at a premium this is an excellent way to ensure that quality remains high.If you'd like to donate a book of your own choosing, please contact Ms. Sawyer to make sure it's not a duplicate (or triplicate) copy. The child will be awarded a Certificate of Appreciation at the next school assembly and their gift acknowledged in the school newsletter.
