The Library Media Center is a busy, active place where students of all ages are given the opportunity to become life- long learners. The LMC has over 6000 volumes of fiction, nonfiction, and reference materials and a lab consisting of 32 networked PC computers. Each computer is equipped with Microsoft Office, Encarta Encyclopedia, Grolier's Multimedia Encyclopedia, Kidspix, Kidspiration, Macromedia Contribute, and more. All have Internet connections.

Margie Sawyer  works in cooperation with the K-5 classroom teachers to enhance the students' time in the LMC on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Those days the LMC will be open from 7:50 until 2:45 (longer on Tuesdays and Thursdays by arrangement ). Grades 4-8 are free to come in at lunch recess on those days and use the computer lab.

Parents of all age students are welcome to check books out too, preferably after school when classes are through. We have a special Parent Shelf and many family videos.
