•  You need to find an article on news that is happening in the world. No sports articles are allowed. For extra credit, find an article that deals with the country in which we are studying. If we are studying North America , extra credit will be given for news that happens in either Canada or Mexico .

•  Jeopardy

•  Map work—overhead pens needed for extensive map work on each continent followed by a test.

 

Focus: Washington State history. World Geography with emphasis on geology and cultures.

Projects:   

First Trimester- Begin Change the World

     Second Trimester- Presentation on a studied country.

Third Trimester- Research on a Washington Native American tribe; final Change the World presentation
